Comments Thread For: Joshua Reveals That Usyk Rematch Was His Most Painful Defeat

Remaining undefeated was the goal for Anthony Joshua. Of course, he had other plans along the way. Winning multiple world titles, knocking off a few great fighters, and pocketing a boatload of money were all salient. But remaining spotless in the loss column was priority number one for the hulking heavyweight.

I didn't get that from your full on nervous breakdown after the fight.

It was an off night for Usyk. Wasn’t as sharp as the first bout. And he still handled Joshua with relative ease.

For real haha, if he would've said Andy Ruiz, no one would've believed him

Pretty evident given Aj's post fight meltdown lol.

Ruiz ruined AJ. Totally. He will forever question his ability to take a punch for the rest of his career. Probably better off retiring. Helenius has a shot simply because AJ might crumble.

I never cared for Wilder. But I will say, he still believes in his right hand and he doesn't appear to be mentally destroyed and he knows what works. Joshua hits like a mule and has a decent skill set. Ruiz caused him to literally change everything that he could have defeafed Usyk with and try to become a pure boxer. He should have made the Usyk fight ugly and done everything he could to hurt him. Instead he tried to box with him. Dumb.

Heleinus can crack on the front and beck foot. Enough for me to sprinkle a little on a stoppage at +1200

Yeah, right, Usyk was in trouble in the ninth, there is no question about that. He had to dig deep and then came back with an incredible tenth round -- and it was there that he crushed AJ's hopes. It was a good fight by Joshua and a great fight by Usyk. There was no "relative ease" about it though.
