Comments Thread For: Robert Helenius: I Think Joshua Is A Little Bit Gun-Shy From His Earlier Fights

Robert Helenius still considers Anthony Joshua an elite-level heavyweight. Joshua's upcoming opponent suspects, though, that the former IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO champion remains impacted by the lingering psychological effects of his technical-knockout loss to Andy Ruiz Jr. and his brutal battle versus Wladimir

He's got one round to get himself in to this fight two tops. When he gets an inkling that there's something there for him he builds on it (kownacki teper liakovich). When he gets a taste early doors he goes in to his shell (war duhaupas whyte). Having said to Wilder backstage post-fight 'i'm done, that's me finished' I'd bank on the latter. Joshua could easily smoke him inside 3 tomorrow.

I like this fight better as I actually think Helenius is a more interesting matchup stylistically against this current version of Joshua we've seen of late. Especially on short notice.

No one gives a **** about Dillian Whyte. Another plodding bruiser from the UK circuit.

Once a fighter takes a dive nothing they say has any merit. He's just a jobber for paydays now.

Nordic Nightmare, do us a favor and knock Joshua out so we can see the look on Hearn's face.

Not a Wilder fan but that was no dive. Helenius much like Breazeale was tailor made for Wilder. Both tall, slow & easy to hit. I called 1st rd KO in both fights. Helenius tried to come right after wilder much like Fury but without Fury’s elusiveness & he ended up on his back. In my opinion it was no dive. I don’t think anyone saw that fight lasting long.
