Attaching the label to Lomachenko is unfair. He lost a fight he will understandably feel he should have won against a tough opponent. On top of that, his country is at war. Most people wouldn't he motivated to return to ring right now.

Lomachenko is probably not confident in fighting Americans right now after beating one up and seemingly taking his 0 but officially “losing” to him.

It’s difficult at that age, I imagine you have to work harder in camp, it takes a little more strength and energy in your 30s. For him to get up and be that ready, that strong and that good vs Haney, and not get the win at that age. That sucks ass. At the very least he has the fans and media support. Problem is 100 years from now Boxrec will have that as an L on his record and some kid isn’t going to think twice about it. It will be forgotten.

Firstly, most men in the US have never been in the military. We have a volunteer military, which means those of us who join do so as volunteers. Ukraine has a draft, so if youre young-ish and able bodied, you go when they call you. And they will call you if they havent already.

Secondly, due to the draft and the fact that the US fought for 20 years in other countries, us being "at war for 20 years" doesn't affect most Americans in any way at all. Ukraine is a small country, invaded and currently being overrun and bombed daily by a world power. That affects everybody.

Does Loma even know what he's doing with his career at this point? I don't know if i'd take a big fight right after winning the undisputed title only to get robbed of it. That's going to take some time to emotionally come to terms with. But at this point in his career, i think it may have finished him off. How can you give it your all at this age knowing it's not going to be given to you should it be close against an American opponent? There will be a mental block on that.

Yes, he low blowed, but that's what comes with boxing. ITS A FIGHT. Did u see all the illegal **** Maidana was doing to Floyd? What did Mayweather do? RESPOND AS A FIGHTET. The US is the hotbed for corruption. I could give you more robberies in just the last 3 years than you could historically in England.

It isn't an excuse to conclude Loma being mentally and emotionally adrift after putting in a winning performance only to be robbed. It happens. You push yourself to the limits being his age and losing due to a robbery is going to dispirit you. I don't think he'll ever be able to get back to that level in a mental and emotional way.
