Comments Thread For: Shakur Stevenson Attaches The "Ducking" Label To Vasiliy Lomachenko

Shakur Stevenson knew that some would be hesitant but he didn't expect everyone to tuck their tails between their legs and go in the other direction. According to the former Olympic silver medalist, landing a fight against a notable opponent has been one the most difficult and frustrating things he's ever gone through.

Like I said before it's hard to see Loma get up for this fight or any other fight. Dude got straight up robbed of a decision and being undisputed. His losses have been controversial and the 3rd one was the final straw.

Man, these people here are delusional and in the deepest of denial. In what world does a young, black man get a unanimous decision over a a white boxer that was made to the best thing since sliced bread? Haney beat this man fair and square. There was no robbery. Do you mean to tell me that white privilege is a thing of the past all of a sudden? Yea, right!!!? I guess that Eminem is the best rapper of all time too, right? Yea, keep dreaming and being delusional, you idiots.

Correct! Lomachenko might have had a legitimate gripe with the refereeing in the Saludo fight but he lost to Lopez and Haney; a close fight doesn't mean a robbery, he's a serial bad loser.

Attaching the label to Lomachenko is unfair. He lost a fight he will understandably feel he should have won against a tough opponent. On top of that, his country is at war. Most people wouldn't he motivated to return to ring right now.

Yo dude, his country being at war is fair. But he fought during this time so I think that isnt it.

Losing a decision he felt he won is an extremely weak BS excuse.

He lost a close, tough fight no different than 1,000 other boxers over the long history of this sport.

I bet everyone on his team prefers his next fight be against Kambosos rather than Shakur.

I think its easily understandable why.
