    Spence v Manny, 151lb CW. 12 rds.

Spence very vulnerable after the beatdown. Manny back after a long layoff. Should do solid numbers.

'A fighter never knows when it's the last bell. He doesn't want to face that. We have distorted views, pictures of how our lives should be.'

        - Sugar Ray Leonard

Manny needs to stay retired. Nothing wrong with picking up a few exhibitions for a quick payday but he won't be competitive against the best at 147 or even 140.

If he does he should only do a recorded fight vs Sergio Martinez drum roll JAKE PAUL. The size, age, layoff mismatch and the fact he's a novice boxer makes this fight super intriguing. Exhibition vs Mayweather or de la Hoya would sell. Pacman lost the president race, gives a lot of his $ to philanthropy he probably needs 25m as well for his retirement & to replace money spent on his failed campaign.

Manny Pacquiao planning to fight, in talks with Conor Benn
            Mike Coppinger ESPN
            March 14, 2023

Manny Pacquiao, who announced his retirement in August 2021, plans to fight again, MP Promotions President Sean Gibbons told ESPN on Tuesday. Pacquiao, who turned 44 in December, is engaged in talks for a welterweight fight against U.K. star Conor Benn, Gibbons said. That fight is being eyed for June 3 in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., sources said, though Benn is also considering two other opponents for his comeback bout: Kell Brook and Chris Eubank Jr...

"Manny is an all-time great and he feels like he still has a lot of fight left in him and he still wants to compete at the highest level. And this fight [vs. Benn] was presented to him by [promoter] Eddie Hearn, and he agreed. Ball is in Eddie Hearn's court. Pacquiao ready to go..."

"We are in the process of selecting Conor Benn's next opponent and have been in active talks with Manny Pacquiao's team," Hearn told ESPN. "We have had multiple site offers to stage the event and are looking to make an official announcement on Conor's next fight as early as next week."

Jake would be a giant, Manny is not suited to giving too much size away because he is not a mover and that will get him hurt by big guys that can box some, with a lot of size advantage you can just smother a smaller guy and land something, if Manny got on a bike and boxed he would box circles around Jake.
