Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua: It'd Be Silly To Underestimate Helenius; I've Gotta Take Him Deadly Serious

The last time Anthony Joshua fought a replacement for his original opponent, Andy Ruiz Jr. dropped the then-unbeaten heavyweight champion four times, upset him by seventh-round technical knockout, took Joshua's four titles and forever altered the British superstar's career.

Helenius got KO'ed in one round when he was coming off a full camp for Deontay Wilder.

Here, he is coming off nothing and fought last weekend. You need to go through a proper camp for a fight and give your body rest in-between fights. He doesn't have the opportunity to do either. It will be like a broken camp and given how low-key his last opponent was, I am not sure what kind of camp he had.

Lame top of the bill but only Whyte is to blame, thankfully this is not PPV but then the bill never should have been. At least Joshua gets a work out , even though his 'fans' run the fact down of Helenius not being any where near good enough to fight Wilder .So Joshua should be in for an easy blowout according to them. In truth Joshua should do away with him around the midway mark but Helenius hits hard enough for Joshua to be respectful and not just walk through him as Wilder was able to.

Hell boy makes some more money long after he should be gone, and Josh keeps his name out there even after he has proved nothing but he knows how to keep his name out there and the cash flow moving. Let those that want to believe watch, there are two other cards this weekend that really do matter.

Yes, this is pretty much on the money. I'd lean to maybe a bit earlier than midway, but Joshua almost certainly will show respect for the power for the first few rounds. Crap fight, but what you going to do on such short notice?
