Inoue has power, speed and imo is better defensively and has a higher boxing IQ than Manny.

IMO what Manny can teach him- needle fear, refusing PED testing, lying of medical forms, getting elective stitches and not taking more money than he ever made over not getting any PPV- is not going to better his career.

Inoue doesn't need Manny. Manny just likes getting paid.

Anyway Inoue is an undefeated champion, and if it ain't broke don't fix it, because you might break it in the process.

This, most trainers were mediocre boxers or even had a few amateur boxing matches before some injury or something. Roger mayweather would have been the highest level boxer i can think of from all the top trainers and robert garcia probably the second best. floyd sr had potential but career cut short.

Pac still lives mainly in the US and i think has a place in california... maybe. Inoue lives in Japan. Even if pac WAS a good trainer, which he isnt, he cant even devote enough time to Inoue unless he goes trainer full time and travels for camps for months at a time. Hes a multi millionaire he isnt going to give up his time like that.

I guess you can say Roy is the most successful Boxer turned Trainer....but he's not a successful trainer lol

Exactly. This would be like Lewis Hamilton retiring and then announcing he would be willing to supervise the engineers at Yamaha in designing their new engines.

Inoue is better off with his professional trainers who know what they are doing.

A lot of people are bringing up the PED issues with Pac, others are mentioning Floyd, I’m going to give you guys a news flash: Most top level pro boxers are probably juicing. Does anyone notice that all of a second, as soon as VADA became a thing, fights are finalized less than two months before the fighters get in the ring?

Does Naoya Inouye do year round VADA? Do they have VADA in Japan? You can make moral arguments against bringing these things up based on speculation, however, those moral arguments aside, if you’re looking at cold hearted probability there is a decent chance that Inouye is already on the sauce.
