Haney isn't wrong about Prograis having a boss.

Didn't realize the age span difference was that wide though.

Well, not as good as if he beat all of them :-) - but I think any rational and fair-minded person will say he fought whoever would fight him and he challenged himself in the extreme. Furthermore, most had him beating Haney or at least a draw. Tank may yet fight him if he gets worn down further by Shakur. Oscar was a better fighter than Loma, better resume - but he lost a lot of fights too and nobody really mentions that - everyone says he fought the best.

Give me tank vs Stevenson, Haney is nothing but a paper champ.

Boxing Scene posted this but yet to post the comments of Shakur Stevenson losing respect for Loma and calling him a duck

I wonder if he's considering fighting the winner of Navarette vs. Valdez??? I only say that because he's yet to accept the fight with Shakur, even after Haney has a fight with Prograis.

He'd have to wait 6 months for that - but its a more intriguing fight imo than Shakur vs Loma - Loma needs a fight in the meanwhile - maybe vs a secondary fighter at top rank. If he chooses that route then Shakur can fight Keyshawn or Any Cruz.

Shakur fought in April, Loma fought in May! No reason they can't fight in December! However, if he waited for Navarette or Valdez, yeah, he would have to wait at least 6 more months. I think he'll take the fight with Shakur.

Haney "Beat The Man That Beat The Man". As in he ACTUALLY did that to unify. And then beat him again.

He's nowhere near a paper champion.

Why wouldn't Stevenson want it? There's no evidence from his language or behaviour in the past that is consistent with him not wanting to fight Haney and win all the belts. Shakur has nothing to be afraid of in Haney. He's basically a better Haney who holds less, has more killer instinct and looks to break down and stop his opponents. Haney just looks to potshot and score points. He couldn't even definitively beat Loma who Shakur is trying to get a fight with. Loma is right not to fight Shakur at this point in his career. He knows it's a lose/lose situation given no belts are at stake and there's the possibility he could get hurt bad.
