Comments Thread For: Bomac: Eubank Jr. Was Winning The Smith Fight, He Just Got Careless

He wasn't though. He won the last half of round 3 and got his lights put out in the next round.

I don't think eubanks was careless, he was defensively minded in fight. But Smith is good. Eubanks might have talent too but you need to take boxing serious

Smith doesn't do flashy stuff like Eubank Jnr, but he does the basics very well. He was patient and when the opportunity came he took it and finished Eubanck decisively.
Eubank has a horrible defense, low hands and stands upright. He was always going to get caught eventually.

Bomac IMO is just looking for name fighters to fill his training camps. Like others have said,
Smith is a very capable patient fighter who did in R4 what he would've done eventually anyway.
Can't see much difference in the rematch. I just don't think Eubank has the skill to win.

He was careless because he was trying to cosplay Roy Jones.
