  • Comments Thread For: Jaron Ennis Believes Stephen Fulton Will Be Champion Again In No Time But At 126 Pounds

There was nothing objective about the rooting interest of Jaron Ennis last month. Stephen Fulton, his good friend and fellow Philly resident, packed his bags and made the trip halfway across the world to Japan. Defeating Naoya Inoue may have been on his agenda but after the first few rounds, Fulton's task was practically impossible.

Fulton and Spence might get belts at 126/154 but they'll be dreading the day Bud and Inoue come join them at the weight (if Spence Bud rematch don't happen next)

A lot of people would have travelled overseas to get the biggest payday available to them. I don’t think Fulton deserves credit for that.

It would be dumb to not accept that opportunity and instead fight someone else at home for far less money.

Boots has talent. But he kind of comes off as really arrogant and kind of ******.

That’s cuz he be beating people up! I’d be arrogant too. He gets way too much hate from the public for being as talented as he is. People claim he ain’t fought anybody (which he hasn’t, and that’s a fair topic to “discuss” But not hate on!). But Tank is similar and is basically the biggest draw in boxing. And Crawford WAS similar, but now after destroying Spence he’s getting some of the credit he deserves. Point is……. Let’s not hate talent everyone. Geez

I could see "Scooter" getting a belt at 126. Props to him if he can take it from, say Robeisy. And more props to him if he takes the fight again when Inoue moves up again. I'm rooting for him to do well.

Fulton was never supposed to be a champ in the first place, too many stolen close fights, just being real bro

Who could he beat? Ramirez stops him again. Vargas is too ugly, Wood nails him in the UK. The new guy maybe.
