I frankly think we need to get past this narrative that we should avoid risk.

Ocampo stepped up to Spence very early in Ocampo's career. Got blown out, but went on a good run afterwards.

I'd like to see Crawford fight Boots.

I don't know why folks are so protective of young fighters now.

If anything, Crawford's 36, he could get old overnight at that age and Boots is at his physical peak.

He's 5'10" with speed, power, agility, and defensive abilities. He's no pushover for anybody, not even Crawford.

After Crawford, I really hope the "he aint fought nobody" crowd sees that a lot of times the reason guys "aint fought nobody" is that nobody wants to risk their "0"s against somebody with skills.

        Ennis has fought nobody

I think in retrospect Kell Brook was a very underrated fighter in his career. The GGG fight was just a travesty. Total ******ation that it was made.
Crawford fought bums, journeymen, Gamboa, Postol, and Porter. That's about it. Before Spence.

But it is all irrelevant when he made Spence look like an absolute bum of the highest caliber that even Angel Manfreddy looks like a better boxer than Spence from that match.

Brook had both orbital bones broken before fighting Crawford and was fighting at 154 before coming back down for Crawford. If it wasn't Crawford and it was Mikey Garcia or something, even more people would call that a bad fight.

But again, all irrelevant because he stomped a mudhole into Spence the size of the balkan sea.

After that fight from Crawford. I can't doubt anyone with a suspect resume anymore and I also can't doubt Crawford. So, good luck to Ennis and Crawford is not from this planet.

Fans can pretty much say anything they want like they want Ennis for Bud next; or Boots doesn't deserve the shot, etc. But at the end of the day fans have very little influence on virtually any fight that's been made and what's being made.

Crawford wants Jermell next, yet I doubt PBC would just magically make an offer to Bud like they're offering Canelo. BLK's participation was already rejected by Espinoza when they tried offering the Crawford fight to Boots.

So what has to be done to make Ennis vs Crawford? I'm scratching my head why no one seems to be interested in discussing this subject.

His team approached dance partners for him they deemed tailor-made for Mr. Boots. They treated him like a baby that needs protection.

His 7 fans are even sensitive like pregnant teenagers. Normal fans can't even mention names like Kavaliauskas, Avanesyan, Butaev, etc, for his next fights while waiting. They always cry, "Why should he fight those guys?"

They're also saying everything should be served on a silver platter for Mr. Boots. His team don't have to do anything knowing full well it takes two to tango.

I’m not sure how else to ask or say this but based on your comment, “That just means Avanesyan, Kavaliauskas and others got bigger balls than Mr. Boots. They stepped up and Mr. Boots didn't.”.

My question wasn’t whether they stepped up or not, it was how did they deserve a shot? Who did they beat to get a shot at Crawford?
Do you believe their resumes are better than Boots?

It’s very straightforward. Is Avanesyan or Kavaliauskas’s resume better than Boots? So much better to earn them a shot at the ATG Bud?

Floyd “potshotted” his way to victory? Which fight were you watching man?
Floyd was right in front of Canelo the whole fight.

I watched the fight where mayweather was punching to score points not damage. Crawford punches to cause damage.

Fighter A doesn't deserve the shot. Fighter B deserve the shot, but doesn't want it.

Businessman had to move on and pick fighter A. Show must go on.

Which was exactly what happened. BLK offered the fight to Avanesyan, he said yes. Boots, upon learning Bud is fighting Avanesyan, was all over Youtube saying, "I would have accepted the offer in a heartbeat."

Weeks later when the Avenesyan fight was over, BLK offered the fight to Boots, but Bozy and Espinoza not only rejected it, but they're mad. Bozy in particular went ballistic complaining why BLK even have the nerve to pull such thing off.

This story would have been denied by Ennis' fan that it happened. Except Bozy and Espinoza themselves confirmed it.

Truth was Boots and his team never wanted the Bud smoke. He went the IBF route and dropped his WBO mandatory spot. All these are general knowledge.

Floyd does not have the punching power to damage Canelo but that’s not what you said. You said he “potshoted” his way to victory.
I’m saying Floyd was right infront of Canelo so which fight did you watch?

Floyd couldn’t damage Marquez and you were hoping he was going to damage Canelo?

7 years as a pro and 32 fights yet he's apparently not ready to fight the champion? That narrative is why boxing is a joke these days. He is ready. In MMA they would have fought 5 years ago.
