Does he have a bigger punch than GGG? Canelo has a hell of a chin, and solid defense. Unless Canelo has really slipped, this is a mismatch.

Canelo has been far more between-fight professional, living a healthier lifestyle, yet, he has no doubt rolled the odometer twice over at this point. Sometimes a great can run for a few years a few quarts low. Throw him in with the wrong type of foe and it can suddenly all come apart in one night.
Please tell me you just compared charlo to pac. Just ****ing stop.

All you can take from this statement is that his secret weapon is ******ity. He’s gonna get steamrolled like Brook did vs GGG.

All these years and we didn't know he was a bigger puncher than Canelo. Is Tim Bradley, Devin Haney, and Pauline Malinagi also heavier punchers than Canelo?

You do realize that there is not a SINGLE elite fighter that GGG has ever stopped don't you?

This could end up being a surprising result. Mell hasn’t fought in a year which means he hasn’t had to make weight in a year. This isn’t the kind of size difference Canelo has been subjected to since moving up to 168 and his two fights at 75 where he looks undersized at 68 and just hilariously out if place at 75.

Don’t be surprised if Mell looks like a full fledged 68er and bigger than Canelo. Mell is a lot more disciplined than his brother, he won’t be fat. His power will translate over well because of his punching mechanics. Yeah, he might not be a shockingly one punch ko type at 68, but this is kind of the same deal with Canelo being a good puncher. They’re sharp and can generate a lot of leverage due to just almost picture perfect mechanics. Canelo has shown an atg type chin but Mell is sharp enough to catch Canelo with a good shot that he isnt expecting. Plant is quick, but he can’t punch like Jermell and Jermell is faster.

Canelo hasn’t worried about a guy who could almost match his combination of hand speed with pop since Danny Jacobs at 160, and that version of Canelo was incredible. He really should be at 160 where he can maximize his style and not be so undersized but I guess not cutting weight is a game changer.

Mell is a live under dog. Khan and Brook jumped up two… but so did Mosley, Pacquiao, Canelo, and a few others. And of those, only Canelo looked horribly out of place in the division. Canelo has been fighting like he’s a bigger man than he really is and just seems less youthful. Could be a beatdown of Mell…but maybe Canelo just isn’t enough Canelo anymore.

Jermell will learn that walking around at a heavier weight is much different than fighting at a heavier weight. His punches will bounce off Canelo like pebbles and Canelo's punches will feel like rocks crashing into Jermell's skull and will cause blood, sweat, and Jheri curl juice to splash everyone in the front row

Canelo has been in with big punchers before. If anything causes Canelo issues in this fight it will be the speed, not the raw power.

I just don’t see him beating Canelo. I’ve watched enough film from both of their previous fights. Charlo leaves his self open a lot and tends to get wild when he lands. It’s boxing though anything can happen.
