Are there any special requirements to box as an amateur in the USA?

Some context- I'm an amateur boxer in Canada with a 13-0 record - The only reason i'm looking to fight in the states is make more of a name for myself and get better experience. I'm looking at a couple of clubs in TX but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about fighting as an amateur in the USA as a Canadian citizen. Is this even allowed?

Well if you run into any obstacles just turn pro. They gave Charlie Zellenoff a license so thats how low the bar is here.
