The book on Johnny Spell is that he is almost too talented the Pittsburgh region he proudly represents. All that has been missing to support that claim for the 27-year-old boxer is the right opponent to either showcase his skills or disprove the hype. Spell has that in front of him this weekend, as he faces Reading's Julian Gonzalez (10-0-1, 9KOs) in a scheduled eight-round junior lightweight bout between cross-state prospects.

Good idea Johnny put in extra work, because your opponent just might be putting in extra work on you on fight night.
This fight card looks like its has evenly matched fighters facing each other on this Friday.

wouldnt it be nice if Showtime Boxing started re-investing in some more of its boxing content from there PPV events into there mainstream fights ? Jump on the excitement of the Crawdaddy v Spent fight card with more cards and better cards as the build up the next real PPV event.

Yes it would be nice, but this is a good card of up, and coming prospect's.
Showtime does have that opportunity right now, and going forward with their fighters, and their scheduling of future fight's.

Oh i will be watching make no mistake, i have watched fights that most people would never look at on a screen so yea. i always believed that Showtime can and does have the chance to bring people into boxing who might not normally watch. Just the fact is it a station an app that catches lots of dif viewers into what they choose to put out there. Always hope the any boxing platform does good for the fight game and Show has helped in some area esp the up and coming fighters series.
