If more Champions were fighting 3-5 times a year Boxing would be so much better.

CHEF is the guy standing behind Vitali holding his belt during the post fight interview.

He is very reliable, and I've previously mentioned him here at boxingscene as my source of information. I wish he'd post here instead of over there.

This is GREAT NEWS - I'll have another Vitali fight to look forward to this year!

Very true.

Inactivity not only makes it less interesting for the fans, it causes fighters to decline.

....When you stay in shape year round I suppose it makes it easier.

Yes. Those old kickboxing injuries finally healed. He's already in perfect shape for the next fight...

In the past he's fought an opponent very similar to Kevin Johnson, namely Larry Donald, so that experience will help him.

Vitaly is a guy who never lets himself get out of shape. Nice to see him fighting again so soon, put's the likes of David, no fight in a year, Haye to shame. At 38 he can't sit about. Money is there to be made.
