Here is a prime example of a fighter that needs to pack it in. Gibbs is a tough guy but he hasn't been the same since that sensational war with Daniel Edouard. He took some beating in that fight and a lot of punishment in subsequent fights with Leonard Pierre (an underrated war), against Andy Lee and Edison Miranda.

You just can't feel good about the way he reacts to temple shots. He is the definition of a guy who should not be in the hurt business.

Last time I remember he fought Andy Lee and Miranda. That KO was crazy also. I believe he turn around in a circle, lol.

Willy Gibbs was kind of shot out. I remember seeing his debut on ESPN, and I liked his look - that classic Philly style. That said, i remember being in Hopkins cam, after Gibbs' fight w Eduard, and talking to Bernard and Naazim, and they had indicated that, unbeknownst to a lot of the viewing public, that Gibbs had been in a lot of gym wars, etc that never made TV, and that they had advised him both Gibbs (and Gibbs' mother - Hopkins'' sister) that Willy should hang them up. He had been KO'd a few times after that. Aint seen him in a while
