That won't even work. Crawford throws hard, crisp shots on the inside as well.
You'd have to totally remake Spence's style from the gromd up almost, and it's far too late in the game for that.
I hope Errol doesn't think he's going to implement the same strategy in the rematch, but just "be a little sharper". That ain't it, chief.Comment

Spence seems like a super cool guy, always liked him. He was never a match for Bud and he will get smoked in a rematch. The fact that he is acting like the loss was no big deal is bad. He has already said, "it will be much closer in the rematch". His mindset is not winning, his mindset is, ok, I have to go and outbox Bud from the outside. It might get him a few more rounds of not getting hurt, but Bud will catch him and stop him again.
I don't believe he was any different in the ring against Bud then he was against Ugas or Porter. The difference was Bud cracked him and hurt him for the first time in his career and Spence is not a killer, he had no clue how to react. He was lost. He tried to his credit, but what Bud exposed was what I have always seen in Spence. When he is the stronger guy, and he can push his opponent around, he is confident and follows the plan. Danny Garcia isn't a world beater, Ugas is feather fisted, he pushed Brook around.
The normal thing didn't work and Bud was stronger than him, and hurt him. Period. I'd say Derrick James is largely to blame. Spence had no answer except the same thing.Comment

I hope not my emotions can’t go through that again. Every shot Crawford him with, I felt it. During the ring walk I I had my drink , a portion of Jerk chicken and mac and cheese nicely placed in front of my reclining chair. Only to watch the entire fight standing up 5 cm away from plasma looking like I’ve just run a marathon. It’s only today my appetite has returned. I liked everything Spence stood for even telling my son that talent is not everything, that Hard work , determination and self believe trounces talent. I can’t forgive Crawford what he has doneComment

Keep ya head up, champ. Some people are craving to see you down or desperate for you to make excuses. Don't give them the satisfaction.Comment

And there probably wasn’t ever a neurological assessment cuz I bet the symptoms are subtle and could’ve flown under the radar, but we are dealing with a physical athlete who takes punches to the face at the highest level to the head, and on top of that, was involved in a high speed car crash.
He honestly should have a neurological assessment.Comment
