The facts are PBC controlled the welterweight division with every belt but one. Crawford called out Spence years ago. He called him out long before Spences issues outside of the ring. The other side of the street talk came from PBC. Haymon knew there was a possibility of losing control of the ww division without those belts. Now he has. PBC did not want the Crawford fight, period. We all saw sat. Night why they didn't.
As far as Crawford re signing w Top Rank,Bud was making more per fight than those at PBC. PBC fighters keep getting exposed as they venture out of their protective bubble. There should be no in house only champions. All promotions should be required by the sanctioning bodies to fight the #1 contender regardless of promoter. But this is boxing and we all know the corruption levels. Anyhow,I'm glad Bud won the fight. Let's hope he puts those belts on the line against deserving competition.

Crawford decided to leave once the dust settled that will forever be in crawfords history, regardless of how u want to spin it. Again. Crawford was in a war with his own promoter. Even arum (which i never agreed with) said crawford doesn't deserve any fighter from pbc based on what he is asking for. Why stay with arum for so many years when he is taking a dump on your career? Arum wasn't even willing to do a joint pbc top rank fight for crawford because he felt crawford was just gonna bankrupt the company. So why stay? These are facts not your conspiracy theories......in my book that puts a mark on his 147 pound legacy. Everyone beats each other up and you come around collecting belts after fighters having hip replacements fractured eyes. if you can't see what I am saying then u must be too much of a fan. or from ohamaha or some other none sense. Too emotionally invested.
Bud has beat 8 top 10 welters, 6 of those by KO. Porter is a dog but has no power. Kava has big power. Ava had big power. Spence had big power. Bud KO'd all of them. Porter was never damaged goods after Spence, that was an even fight.
The idea that Bud fought a bunch of cans is incredibly ******, and the same bs you all used before the fight. Spence looked great against Ugas, and several Spence fans used that victory to say Crawford had no chance. But now, well, Spence was speaking with a drawl and looked tired before the fight. Spence is a soft spoken guy with a drawl who stumbles on his words and he looks stoned constantly, he has since the beginning of his career. But apparently he was brain damaged and that is why Bud dominated him.
Spence was done after the first KO because he was in new territory, he was badly hurt.....reminded me of Joshua against Ruiz. Just utter shock because he'd never been hurt like that, Wlad knocked him down but he wasn't hurt. Ruiz put him on queet street, and that is what Bud did. Spence tried but Bud was just way too good. Period.
But you guys will use the "Bud never fought anyone" BS while acting like Spence was fighting all time greats like Danny Garcia, or running from frickin Mikey.
Totally ridiculous.Last edited by Theshotyoudontsee; 08-01-2023, 11:57 AM.

The Charlo brothers are known for their silly, nonsensical talk. In reality, the plan is for Carlo is move up to 168lbs to take a chance (A likely loss) for a payday and then look for easy winnable money fights similar to Tyson Fury. Make no mistake, Charlo's "belt hunting" days ended the day he took the fight with Canelo. Carlo is not coming back down to 154lbs to fight a killer like Crawford, why would he? Keep in mind, Spence and Charlo spare all the time and Charlo just witnessed Spence's murder by numbers to real killer, not a talker, a serial killer. The gansta trash talk is BS marketing and it worked but it's always been been about money first, and like Keith Thurman, Charlo just hit the lotto. Sure Charlo will talk but there is never going to be a 154lb Charo/Crawford fight for all the belts, it's never going to happen because after Canello, there no upside...

Good. After last weekends blitzkrieg and dominant beatdown of the supposed "Big Fish", id love to see Bud attempt to become the ONLY 3x undisputed champ EVER.
Theres already built in animosity and Bud was talkin sh.it to Mell after he kd Spence.
Besides, Id like to see Bud beat up and knock Mell tf out so James looks like a smug b!tch AGAIN like he did last weekend.

Maybe you missed it ....Crawford offered Danny Garcia $5 million, Danny said "we goin another way", Danny fought Granados for 1$ million. Arum offered Keith $10 million, Keith demanded 20 and ended up fighting Manny for $7 Million with back end included. Porter and Spence agreed to fight Crawford and neither finished the fight. I can go on and on but you get the point.... and if you don't it's because you just don't want to because it doesn't fit your native.

Don't fanboy under my post. U clearly know my post is not about crawford beating Spence. That goes without saying. Crawford clearly without a shadow of a doubt beat Spence and all praises to crawford and team bud. The problem I am having with fanboys like yourself is that you guys are saying that the top welterweights ducked crawford in their primes. Saying that Crawford wasn't in a heated war with his own promoter who said he can't sell shi to a sewage system at the time. And, all things are haymons and showtime fault. Everything is a conspiracy against bud. No. I am calling it how it is . Crawford factually decided to stay with arum who was taking a dump on him and his career, as the best weilterweights beat each other up. After the dust settled crawford came collecting belts. Those are the facts. I fu with crawford probably more then anyone on this forum. But you not gonna sell me shi as sugar all in the name of fanboying. call it what is straight down the middle. Its why I personally feel its more to be desired from crawford at 154. I would love to see what bud can do at 154 . Shoot me for it.
And for the record, NO, Charlo isn't coming back down to fight a killer like Crawford. Charlo has been in wars and some with mediocre fighters for peanuts, he getting older, and now has the lotto ticket and he's cashing out. What's the point?Last edited by factsarenice; 08-01-2023, 12:21 PM.
