    This era pussifies fighters

Back in the old days everyone was cold. Refs didn't stop fights early. People lost and got koed cold and still came back to be great fighters. Duran got koed cold by hearns and still came back to win the mw title. Spence loses and idiots like stephen a smith are calling him to retire.

Spence is a special case, given his previous history and we as a collective now know the dangers of head trauma in contact and combat sports.

Look at Wilfred Benitez. Is it worth it? Are the lasting consequences worth the glory? That's for every fighter to decide.

Duran also quit in a fight.. So yeah imagine if Spence did that last saturday?

Spence would have continued until he got KOed cold last Saturday. Such a softie and a ***** right?? Shut up! There are warriors today just like there were warriors in the past.

Very true. And it almost seemed like fighters of today are treated like they're kids who can't take care of themselves.

They lose once and it's all over. They're damaged goods.
