Crawford was never going to stand square on where Spence does his best work, he made Spence punch in different angles, Spence couldn't generate any power

Doesn't Spence have anybody around him that cares about him? He needs to leave the rematch alone. See if he can rebuild. He needs to sit down and watch that fight with Derrick James, and James needs to step up and say something.

Granted, it was a lopsided victory for Crawford, and like Spence, I'm making no excuses for his loss. He agreed to make the 147 lb. limit and got beaten soundly. However, this was Crawford's easiest victory against a top level fighter who's dominated all of his opponents, besides Porter. Spence is no scrub and it shouldn't have been this easy. Crawford is good but obviously Spence was affected by punishing himself to get down to 147. Based on the beatdown Spence took, it appears as though Crawford has his number, but like a true champion, Spence will take the immediate rematch at 154. Crawford may win again but I think Spence will fight a much better fight. If Crawford does the same thing to him, then I'll be convinced that Crawford has his number.

I’m wondering if Spence will activate the rematch. Words spoken in emotion and pride right after the fight might be reconsidered later, with input from his team.

If he does activate, Bud should make it at 147 again if it’s only “a bit hard” for him to make the limit. Why give Spence any advantage at all, however little most people think it will matter? If he insists on 47 that might encourage Spence to move on, which is the better outcome for everyone.

If they do rematch at 154, there are no belts on the line, and TC would have at least a couple of mandatories waiting at 47 right after. As for Spence, that would more than likely be the last time we see him in the ring.

I see where your coming from, but it just seems its over for Spence, years of making weight, when perhaps it would of been sensible to have moved up a few years ago

People were saying all week that the Ugas fight showed Spence was still a destroyer at 147.....like Ugas was similar in any way to Crawford lol.

spence loses in the rematch at 147 or 154... spence did not show that he can be competitive against crawford. rematch will be pointless.

Spence - Thurman at 154. spence should win

Crawford - boots at 147 - think crawford wins but some risks with it, so much unknown about boots

then spence -crawford rematch at 154

yeah crawford protected his body very well, he didnt take that many shots. Spence might have better punch resistance and a bit better timing at 154 but i dont see it being enough
