About to interview Sugar Shane Mosley

He commented on williams and said he's willing to fight him, or anybody. Shane honestly seemed very surly in this interview, he seems to be presenting a bit more of a "tough guy" image lately, to be honest. As far as the Steroids, we were asked by his publicist to avoid all questions regarding that.



He touched on Naazim, but honestly some parts of it I couldn't hear as well because his phone was screwing up on my line. My other co-hosts said they heard him, but I perfonally asked the question about Naazim and he said something along the lines of Naazim's demeanor helping him very much.



He was, and has been, VERY vocal as of late about Floyd. Shane seems to be taking a different approach about this fight, like he's trying to prove something. He says he wants to fight anybody and everybody, that he's the best Welterweight, and it kind of threw me and my co-hosts off a little bit. He sounds like he's ready, and has been ready, to fight for a while and he's definitely looking to make a statement.

The interview will air this Monday. Part of the audip may have gotten screwed up but we cannot be sure as of yet. Any part that was will be edited out, but Shane answered a lot of questions in this short time we had with him, which was only about 20 minutes as he was very busy and his publicist was nice enough to give us at least that much time.

He said he thinks Vargas may have hit him with a headbutt, and his tooth came loose. He then said that he said to give him a month to figure out what was going on, whether it be with his tooth or wat have you, and he agreed he could fight Floyd in January. Then he said that Floyd had already had a date set in his mind for November (the Baldomir fight), and when he said to give him a month, they said they didnt want to do that, and Floyd ended up fighting Oscar instead. Then he said ok, after he fights Oscar if he wins, then they'll fight. He went on to say that every time Floyd said they brought him a fight, it wasn't true that Shane turned him down. He also said there's a clip, that was on camera, of shane asking floyd back around 1999 if he wanted to fight him at 135, and Floyd said no because he wanted to baet Carlos Monzon's record, and this was when he fought in Michigan back then.

It's probably Floyd vs Carlos Rios. It was in 1999 in Michigan on TNT. Shane Mosley was doing commentary during the entire fight with Marv Albert. A few months later Shane fought on TNT against this dude named Morales
