I can see some of the bigger fighters from 147 trying to get a title

There was talk of Ramirez moving up. Taylor has always talked of moving up, but I think he's on the slide. Too many injuries and tough fights. Prograis could move up depending on what happens after Haney. They would be decent additions in terms of recognisable names.

So I think plenty of fighters will be looking for some winnable vacant fight, or some beatable opponent that maybe picks up a vacant title

As for the current welterweight, I think it's lacking in depth. Boots looks good so far. Ortiz is done, can't make weight without going to hospital. Benn is a hype job that'll be messed up when he fights a real opponent. The likes of Stanionis and Giyasov are OK, nothing special, they'd beat the likes of Benn though in my opinion. Ugas is ok, probably still one of the better ones out there. Thurman is done as a top fighter.

we'll have to see Boots truly tested a bit, but if he has enough toughness to go along with his ability, then he must be looking at the division and thinking he has clear path to clean out the division once Crawford isn't there.
