First of all, he is not a bad fighter, obviously, he is a very good fighter, but not an special one or really a top-5 P4P.
His career is not amazing, his best wins were against good fighters, B class champions and he compete in a very weak division (this era of Thurman, Danny, Porter, etc) is the worst era of the ww division in the last 40 years.
He is a one division champion, that means he did not prove anything against bigger fighters than him.
Is crazy see the american media put this guy above a real legend like Juan Francisco Estrada. And that was for years.
He is slow, he has not good IQ, he is predecible, has not good balance, very bad defense and questionable chin (Ugas and Porter hurted him bad, and they don't have good power).
He throw a lot of punches, good body work, great stamina.
His notable wins are Danny (good champion, not top-100 in boxing history), Porter (good champion, not top 100 un boxing history), Brook, the same.
All the top-10 P4P fighters would school, easy, those guys if were the same size, Estrada, Inoue, Teo, Canelo, etc.
Spence never fought against a guy with speed.
Spence never fought against guy with great power and skills.
Is easy put pressure against smaller guys without great power.
