Crawford is a great fighter, but? Talk of him being a top-10 all-time great is beyond his current feats of achievement right now in my opinion 'But for sure he is one of the greatest fighters from this era'.

I think people get carried away whenever a fighter in the modern era, strings together a few wins or wins a few titles 'It is a lot easier to become a World Champion in the modern era, and it most likely easier to hold onto those titles'. I have nothing against all the title organisations, but the share number of them increases the likely-hood of a fighter becoming a World Champion'.

I still don't think Crawford has enough great wins, against other great fighters to be even considered a top-10 all-time greater fighter.

But that was a great performance last night, big time performer in the clutch 'Crawford's first mega win'.

Note: In comparison Floyd Mayweather Junior, fight by fight achieved more mega wins than Crawford 'And Manny Pacquiao also achieved the same feats'. And I am unsure whether anyone even rates those fighters as top-10 all-time greats.

I would still say that Usyk is the most accomplished active fighter in the entire sport of boxing. And if Usyk is able to become Undisputed Champion at Heavyweight, that achievement would possibly have to be rated greater than Crawford's.

Crawford in reality, is not having to push his body or test in the same way as Usyk. Crawford like many fighters in the lower weight divisions, weight drain themselves to be the big man on fight night 'At 147 pounds, he was taking a step towards his more natural fighting weight'.

What weight does Crawford walk around at while still in condition? 180 pounds? Or close to.

And once again? In the aftermath of another fight, the fighting weight has become a talking point. I have said it before, and I will say it again 'In the lower weight divisions, the toxic weight draining culture has reached such levels, that the competition is way below par'.

Under the same day weigh in rule, it is a historic fact that fighters did not overly weight drain themselves. I have been over this issue many times before, and even posted videos of boxing coaches speaking about how fighters used to train 'Dominic Ingle has spoken about the differences in training lifestyle's within this modern era, compared to fighters even as far back as the 1970's and early 80's'.

Under the day before weigh in rule? You ether get one fighter in condition 'Or should we just say, they make the weight better than their opponent'. The fighters are not training to fight their opponents, they are training to make the weight 'I honestly think that is were most of their efforts and focus goes'.

Tyson Fury will most likely out weigh Usyk by 35-40+ pounds, who knows it could be over 50 pounds. Neither fighter will be obsessing over making a weight, and they will be focused on training with the intention 1000% of beating the other fighter.

Note: The day before fight weigh in rule, for me has kind of diluted the competition 'Because of the toxic weight draining culture which has bolstered under these fight conditions'. The current weigh in rules do not make the sport any safer, in fact they make it even more unnecessarily dangerous 'Both in the short term and long term for the fighters'.

The rules need to be altered, ether the same day weigh in rule can be reinstated or more strict check weigh in's can be put in place 'The rules can definitively be altered, to deter fighters from weight draining themselves'.

I am also unsure of what the pound for pound rankings mean, is it all about skill or the actual feats of achievement. I believe different people have their own ratings system 'Skill for skill even before this fight Crawford has to be rated in the top-3 fighters in the World. But in terms of feats of achievement, I am not sure were his feats are ranked' etc.

Lets hope he doesn't avoid that Ennis smoke like Canelo's avoiding that Benavidez smoke. He WILL get called out on it.

I think he should fight ennis next at 147 and after that go to 154. I think he beats ennis, right now everyone will say "ennis never beat anybody" but i think ennis will be the future of the division and he can be a win for crawford like Floyd's canelo win where he beat him before he really took off.

Ennis looks good with speed and offense, he keeps his hands low, the only thing we dont know is what ennis' defense looks like, none of these guys can really press him so I dont know how good it is, that would be critical with crawford.

Spence is very lucky he didnt fight ennis, really explosive and quick guy, mostly southpaw, his sleepy ass would have gotten embarrassed and it woudl have been more embarrased getting lit up by an up and coming guy than crawford.

They should atleast have a fight night weigh in. Weigh them in their dressing rooms and make it mandatory. Even if they can weigh whatever they want atleast post the weights like HBO used to do. So we can see which of these guys are the real weight drainers.

Also the 10 pound rehydration limit is a start but the way i have seen them done is the first weigh in is the morning the day before and then the next weigh in is the morning of the fight and the guys are barely making that weigh in morning of the fight so they are still packing in liquids for the next 8+ hours until the fight.... so its almost pointless.

Some of the very best fighters of this era had very small rehydrations and fought at their natural weights. Mayweather, pac, loma, all had very little weigh gain at their final divisions.

There will always be someone else fans bring up for every boxer.

Crawford it was fight Spence. Now its fight Boots, win Boots and it'll be well who has Boots ever fought 30 bums and never been world champ.

Canelo beats Benavidez and it'll be fight Andrade or fight Bivol again

Fury beats Usyk and it'll be fight AJ still

Yeah, I hope they offer him a ton of money to fight Ennis next. That’s the fight to make at 147.

If he could unify all 4 belts at 154 that would be another good option for him too. Would make for a great historical legacy.
