No problems with the rematch but Spence needs to fight a contender before to show that he isn't washed now. Obvious fight next for Crawford should be Jermell but how can that really happen with the Canelo fight and the WBO mandatory. Ennis might just get the call.

You can't be a weight bully, if you fight in a certain weight class and make weight. I can understand if you don't make weight, but Spence always makes weight. He and Bud are professionals, both were undefeated coming into this bout.

I don't need to see a rematch. Very conclusive ending. I'm sure Spence can come up with a better game plan, box a lot more..use the ring..Crawford was just so much better. It's hard to envision a different outcome. Thanks to both fighters for making the fight. Great performance from Crawford. Spence was gracious in defeat and gave Crawford his flowers. Took his L like a man. Kudos.

How was he not gracious in defeat. After a fight ge is running high on adrenaline and emotions and he still accepted bud was the better man. What more do you want?
I see only 1 other 'special' fighter at welterweight other than crawford and its not Errol. Boots is the only man below 154 who can beat him, and he just might

In the post fight interview Spence was gracious in defeat. He did say that his timing was off but the better man won. When the reporters asked him if cutting weight and the layoff affected him he said that the better man won and that there were no excuses.

Spence wanted the fight, called Bud, made concessions and got the fight. They are no excuses and Bud gets full credit.

The reason that Spence's timing was off was because he works off the jab and it got neutralized after the 2nd round. Bud did say that the new this and worked on that.

People have criticised Bud and Spence’s respective resumes, and so it’s only right to do the same to Boots. His is FAR weaker than either of these two. He’s been winning in style, but he’s not even been fighting contenders.

He’s fast, flashy and athletic, his defence looks pretty educated, and he looks to be a hard puncher. But the guy is totally untested and to go from his level of opposition to a Crawford would be an immense step up. There’s no way I could pick him.
