Yes. Corrales. He may not have been top pfp, but Floyd was the underdog. And corrales was undefeated

The more I read this site, I see that these guys have no knowledge of anything in boxing before the past 10 years.

Afro american? Technically no. Corrales wasn't afro american and mosley wasn't undefeated when mayweather fought him.

Yeah but why was he? Check his resume before he fought Floyd...really slim. Robert Garcia and manfedy? Top 5 p4p laughable and he looked terrible against Garcia to boot. All his best wins actually came after the Floyd fight

                these a black fighters

Mexican and Colombian is not a race. There are black Mexicans, black Germans, black Dominicans. Mexican is a nationality. I’ve explained this to an idiot that said Tom Brady’s wife wasn’t white but Brazillian. Brazillian is a nationality. There are white brazillians (Tom Brady’s wife and Tiaggo Splitter)and black Brazilians(Pele)

There is always excuses lol. First it was he didn’t beat any pfp undefested black fighters. Then it was check the resumes then it was Corrales wasn’t black enough to be considered black. The BS never stops. Mfers just hate saying”I was wrong”.

A lot of people don’t know because they didn’t follow boxing at the time, but Mayweather was ducked by a few good African American fighters.

Mosley in his prime ducked Mayweather twice. Mosley just got the balls to call Mayweather out after Mayweather blew up and had more PPV fights.

Prime Winky Wright denied Mayweather a 55-45 split when Mayweather wanted to jump from 140 to 154 for that fight. He expected the smaller guy to fight for 50-50 split. But Winky was very well known for self-sabotaging his career, so that’s not news.

It really doesn’t matter though, you can’t just create great and popular african american fighters who are good dance partners, out of thin air. Mayweather just didn’t have any to fight at the times he was coming up. Not popular one’s. And the one’s he did have, he wanted them.

Today’s 147 has more top popular black fighters than when Mayweather was fighting. Mayweather came up in a more Latino dominated era. Today you have Crawford, Spence, Thurman, Ennis, and you had Porter. Mayweather wasn’t surrounded by so many good popular black boxers when he was coming up. I mean his rivals were literally Latino fighters and an Asian.

floyd ducked winky stop lying. floyd called out winky, winky said ok lets go,floyd tried to kill the fight by making winky do a rehydration clause and winky agreed! thats when floyd came back and demanded more money lol. thats his MO, we know he does that when he doesnt want to fight. how can you blame winky? he had literally just beaten mosley and trinidad in bigger ppv fights than floyd-gatti. why would floyd get more money just cause hes smaller? doesnt work that way. did marquez get more for moving up and fighting floyd? its all about star power and winky was at least on floyds level. floyd was just bluffing and got called out.
