This is my comment from yesterday. Not sure it could’ve been a more accurate prediction;

Agee with the writer. Spence isn’t a one punch sharp shooter and unless he can pummel Crawford into submission inside the first 5 or 6 he’ll slow, those gaps will appear and Crawford who’s one of the best finishers about will close the show in brutal fashion. Spence has been rocked by right hands before as he’s vulnerable to them in the southpaw stance and my guess is it’ll be a right hand from Crawford that will start things off. I don’t think Spence will find Crawford often enough or cleanly enough to do the damage he’ll need by the mid rounds and despite the rhetoric Spence does slow and tire, more so in his last couple of fights. The gaps will come and Crawford only needs one to start the ball rolling. Crawford between 8 and 9 is my guess.

Never was a 50-50 fight...just like Monster vs Scooter, don't understand why, those fights were easy to pick, Spence struggled with the Swift and Porters of the World why Bud has been moping the floor with those kind of dudes.

Spence’s chin is suspect in a way now.

I have been saying it since he fought Mikey how he did, Spence has a suspect chin. have caught hell from many on this board for saying that, but Spence has never been a killer in the ring. He has always fought smart and he has always been leery of taking many shots. He could have gone for the stoppage in certain fights where he was really, really cautious.

There are a few here who loved to talk about Bud getting hit by Gamboa and Kava. It is because Bud takes chances and he is there to stop guys. He is a mean MFer in the ring and fights like it.

Don't care what anyone says about the car crash, etc....Spence had never even been dropped before tonight. I give it to him for not running, but Bud proved we many of us have been saying for years. It isn't that he is fighting crap fighters, he just has sick power. Spence was in shock, I don't think he really believed what was happening. And he came back hard, and got hurt again and again. I guarantee you that PBC says I told you so.....they know what Bud is and they knew what was gonna happen the minute Spence fought him.

I have watched every one of Spence's pro fights. No version of Spence ever beats Crawford. Crawford is a throwback, elite fighter, who would compete in any WW era.
