Spence doesn't like Thurman. He told Thurman pre-pandemic/pre accident that he would never fight Thurman. I believe Thurman was being pushed on Spence. Spence wanted Crawford, and I applaud him for sticking to his guns and getting a deal done with Crawford.

Thurman is an after thought at the moment. It doesn't mean Spence won't fight him. Spence wants the money and the glory. He knew that he wouldn't get it through Thurman at the moment. Perhaps, somewhere down the line - the money and the glory will be in that matchup. While Thurman is a very good opponent, despite what his haters may say, Spence isn't ducking him. He doesn't like him. That's a difference. Fighters eventually get in the ring with those they don't like - especially if there's something to gain in that fight. If ever the time is right, I'm sure Spence VS Thurman will get made.

I agree wholeheartedly! What has Kieth Thurman done as of late except win life, and death fights in two of his last fights!
Oh hell no he's got to earn a title fight, not get one because he used to be the champion at this particular weight division.
