    I'd be concerned with the fighter that doesn't envision the possibility of losing.

    Even Floyd had rematch clauses in all his contracts post-Hoya. He knew the possibility was there.

        That's a good point. If you think about it, a rematch clause means the fighter envisions a scenario where they are gonna lose.


        I think you gotta mentally prepare for it, and fear the ass beating youre taking in your mind so you can overcome it before it actually happens.
        Like your mind hasta be screaming NO Not Happening! Nope not gonna happen.

          A lot of fans are dumb because the fighters get beat up and knocked down in sparring and everyone has lost as an amateur. They all know they can lose. In every sport you can lose. It's just the way boxing markets it's fighters - as unbeaten or unbeatable. And you don't get that in any other sport because in other sports you don't get to choose who you play/compete against... No one is unbeaten. The best will lose a ton of times.
