You make a great point here....maybe crying ok....weeping not so much?? I think I can get with that....but then again once your emotions take over kinda hard to stop no??Comment

I hear ya....but I think Lampley and E Stew were laughing more at the F bombs he dropped all over the place....not so much cuz he was crying...IMOVictory tears always look better than defeat tears. Lol. Arreola should have composed himself before doing the interview, because it's one thing to cry over the loss..which he coulda done in the privacy of the locker room...but in front of millions of views and the public, saying **** like "I really wanted to be champion", and "I'm sorry, I feel like I let you down". No, that never looks good...Hell even Jim Lampley and Emmanual Steward were having a laugh at that. Better to wait to be alone...it looks better and says more about your character.Comment

how many of the ppl up in here judging fighter who cry, have acctually competed in boxing themselfs? if u dont know how its like i dont think u should judge someone. nothing wrong with arreola crying cuz he fought hard for 10 rounds taking enourmous punishment only to in the end have his dream rejected. mccall had personal things going on and just wasnt in mental shape to fight at all, cintron.. dont know, hard to make excuses there.Comment

I agree completely with this^^^. When guys/women win or lose tough fights, it can get emotional, and i see no shame in a little teary eyedness<(is that even a word)? lol...
But to me, and this is just my opinion, see it a bit much to out right bawl and swear when you ain't even hurt that bad, or just quit or your team throws in the towel. I've seen a lot of guys take sever beatings, and didn't cry.
I think there is kinda like a line...a little weeping is ok, under certain circumstances, but outright bawling, when not even in severe physical pain, to me is a bit much. I'm not a tough guy, just an average joe, i got sent to the emergency room in a street fight, come home all bandaged up and wearing a neck brace for 2 weeks, i didn't cry, i don't expect to see "warriors" bawl and swear so much. just my 2¢.
Like Mangler, a little weeping is no big deal, but it just don't look good. It doesn't really affect my judgment of a guy much. Just i think he's a little emotional. It happens.Comment

Again...a very good point....many folks who don't know what it's like to compete dont really know what type of emotion is involved.....how many of the ppl up in here judging fighter who cry, have acctually competed in boxing themselfs? if u dont know how its like i dont think u should judge someone. nothing wrong with arreola crying cuz he fought hard for 10 rounds taking enourmous punishment only to in the end have his dream rejected. mccall had personal things going on and just wasnt in mental shape to fight at all, cintron.. dont know, hard to make excuses there.Comment
