If he beats Mosley and Pac/Cotto, then he is a top 20 ATG, in my book. It would redeem his past few years of so-so fights at Welterweight.

He has to take these fights, there is no one left on his level wether big name wise or even talent wise. Both fights would be a cake walk for him anyway so y not.

I don't agree with Floyd having to go up to 154 and dominate to become one of the greatest ever. I think with his skillset if he unifies at 147 and maybe defends his title he should be considered for a high position on an all time list. It's not his fault that he never fought some of the challengers in his previous divisions, because fighters like Casamayor didn't want none of Floyd, nor did Hatton when he was at 140.

TBH I think we'll only really be able to decide Floyd's (or any other current fighter) position once he's retired and definitely gone, because there is too much current personal feelings regarding him (especially the irrational hate) which clouds people's judgement.

For beating who? Marquez. Pacquiao done that. De La Hoya. Pacquiao done that, Hatton. Pacquiao done that. for beating Baldomir, Mitchell, Zap Judah, Gatti?
And to think he had already had retired.

His time in the W.W. division was a joke and sadly will continue to be a joke, because he will likely fight only one true W.W. and that fighter will likely be shot or too old, but its all his fault for retiring two years ago waiting for the rest of the fighters to dismandle them selves.

Checkout what Clottey, Cotto, Margarito, been doing after Floyd retired. Oh yeah they were all fighting eachother beating eachother to death. Mean while Floyd was saying he was the best and retired without fighting none of them.

He even avoided a rematch with De La Hoya and let the money go, because he felt Oscars power. He even avoided Quintana, P. Willimas & Berto. He didn't know what poision to pick. all he's looking for is damage goods and judging by his history that is so very true. Only true fight he had was with Hatton and even that fight has alot to say about him. Builidng a Legacy out of nothing at all. A welter Bully that's what he is.
