Not true, Canelo is a hybrid of pressure fighter / counter puncher. Look how many finishes he has had in the last 10 fights off a counter. He has one of the best pull counters in the game.

His only flaw in my opinion is he holds his head up high on occasion and gets tagged with shots he could quite easily avoid...tendency to be reckless going after his opponent but he is such a sharp ruthless puncher he has got away with it....his best assets are his speed , KO power in both hands , killer instinct ,timing and his tenacity and his jab is quick and hard....great fighter for sure

Only thing I notice is he Keeps his left hand a little low to invite offense from the opponent. As he moves up and faces dudes with 72-74in reach, that will be problematic.

That is easily fixed.

Inoue's a beast - explosive, dynamic, athletic and surprisingly faster and quicker than Fulton.

For flaws, he's the type of fighter that falls in love with his power so at times, he disregards his defense when he goes in for the kill and he gets hit a little bit.

However a lack of versatility means he will repeat the same patterns over and over. Reminds me of Manny Pacquiao in some ways

Donaire exploited some of these weaknesses in their first fight and tbh Monster hasn't improved massively since.

If he learned Engrish he would be way more popular
