And this doesn't change after Spence-Crawford either, fellas.

He’s special, all right. Inoue’s promoters need to get him more exposure in the US while they still can. Nobody’s prime forever. ESPN had an article about him a couple of days ago: “Why Naoya 'The Monster' Inoue should be your favorite fighter.” Worth checking out.

He was #1 beforehand if you know boxing, and he will stay #1 for years. Crawford would have to dominate Spence and get a couple belts at 154 to even get into the conversation now, and Inoue already set up the unification with Tapales this year. Spence should have never been ranked that highly as he is, I get it, he is the american darling and with the PBC, so the us media needs to hype him up. Usyk would be in the conversation if he beats Fury, but sadly Fury doesnt have the balls to get into a ring with Usyk.

I don't think this can be argued at the moment, regardless of who may be your favorite fighter.

He should be #1 for at least 4 days. We'll reconsider on Sunday, but he has a great case.

Not for me, until he fights outside of his home land. He’s always making fighters come to Japan, to his home, to his comfort zone. Let’s see him do what Crawford and Usyk do, go to other dudes back yards.

It's not the fact that he's 4 division champ in 25 fights, but it's the fact that he makes everyone he's faced look LEVELS beneath him. Nobody else can say that.

Even in his "toughest fight" where people claim he went "life and death" he won 9-3 with a knockdown.

Saturday night doesn't change a thing.
