Comments Thread For: Andy Cruz Wants To Fight For World Titles Sooner Rather Than Later

If Andy Cruz had any pre-fight jitters, he didn't allow it to affect his performance. As an amateur, the Cuban star was as accomplished as they come. He rarely took a loss, just nine defeats in 140 wins. Cruz also won everything imaginable, including an Olympic gold medal, doing so at the expense of Keyshawn Davis.

It sure looks like Cruz will be ready sooner rather than later. Gonna be a little tricky matching him with appropriate competition, but Andy might be ready for a real belt within seven fights or so. Like Lomachenko, he’s not your typical guy making the transition from amateur to pro. Far from it.

As long as he's with dazn he ain't getting shyte. If he wanted to be in fights with all the top guys at 135 then why in the hell would he sign with MR?

I'd like to see Andy wipe the constant smirks off of Keyshawn's face.

I think Cruz should face Patera next. Would be a good measuring stick.

Eddie will have to give him up after 10 fights and no title fight

That would be great, especially with Davis downplaying Cruz’s debut.
