He was visibly rocked by a right hook (from a southpaw), the crowd/announcers reacted to it, and he seemed to still be effected into the next round. He was well ahead on the cards so that might have played a role with how he looked in the last round - he fought to make it to the end of the fight which was round 8. But everytime I watch that, I wonder what more he can do defensively if that is TC bearing down on him. The crowd seemed to sense a slight shift in momentum in that last round. From memory, Lartey is one of the two southpaws Spence has faced in the past ten years ( i think Van Heerden was the other). 8 rounder, might be worth a watch if only just to see Spence vs a southpaw. Also in fairness to the young Spence, there was a 4 minute round in the 6th
U reaching bruh. Stunned early in his career. Dud was dropped like 3 fights ago. Actually dropped. They both can win but if anyone is getting stopped it will be crawford

He walks through his opponents and hammers them into submission/defeat. Months ago I thought Spence would walk through Crawford if they fought. I felt he was too big, resilient, and strong.

However, as we're coming up on the eve of their fight, my feelings have changed. While I believe that Spence can win by stoppage, I believe Crawford can win on points and by stoppage. I've seen Bud get hurt before, so I think Spence has the ability to hurt Crawford. I've never seen Spence hurt, but he doesn't look that invincible anymore - perhaps, it's all of his new tattoos, lol.

Crawford, is a very good boxer, that gets better as a fight goes on (Even if someone gives him fits, he figures them out and stops them).

And like I said, I've never seen Spence hurt, but he looks weaker for some reason, and there's always a first. If Crawford hurts his opponents, he knows how to finish them. I've never seen Spence have to fight after getting hurt. Therefore, I don't know know how he'd react. Some boxers bounce back when hurt - like Gatti, Nigel Benn, and Holyfield. And then some fold like Roy Jones Jr, Fernando Vargas, and Mike Tyson.

I'm not ruling either fighter out. Both fighters can win this - and it's crazy because I went from it being a sure win for Spence, to now giving a slight edge to Crawford.

I like both fighters. I can't bash either. I'm looking forward to a classic.
I wish more people were able to be as balanced and reasonable as you are. My nephews like Spence so they're rooting for him and I tell them I'm leaning Crawford and they think I'm a Spence hater lol. I told them I was a Spence fan before I even knew who Crawford was. I become a Crawford fan when he was a last minute replacement to fight Prescott and put on a show.

Like you, I'm a fan of both and just want a good fight. I'm partial to Crawford because I prefer his style more but I like them both as fighters. Hell, you can tell they like each other lol.

        Good fughin post
I’m leaning towards Bud but it will be a far walk in the park
I just believe that Crawford has more tools in his arsenal and that he’s always stepped it up on the big stage
His ability to adapt to fighters who trouble him and then defeat them is something that is not taught but actually gained through experience and poise

My measuring stick is Porter vs both of them. Porter gave Crawford a hard time. I didnt see that with Spence. Yes, Crawford KO’d Porter but I saw a different Porter. He wasn’t the same guy from a couple years before.
Crawford WONT ko Spence. I’m not sure Spence can KO Crawford but if I had to choose between the two. I’ll take the bigger and younger man. I personally see this going to a decision. I also see a very ruff fight for Crawford. Especially the first half. I don’t see Spence fading in the second half as did Porter.

Crawford made easier work of Porter, who Spence struggled with. Same with Brook. Danny Garcia is Spence's best win, and he was already beaten by Thurman and Porter.

It's not my fault that I have to go back 10 years to watch Spence vs a southpaw; and it just happens to be one of the fights in which he was stunned. Normally, the resume bros might be questioning something like that. Especially when there is a history of a detached retina in the left eye.

He was speaking about how each fighter reacts to being hurt - we all know how TC reacts, he comes back to KO the guy.
