It really doesn't when hand size and bone density have more of a effect than extra tape. The difference is so insignificant that it doesn't matter.

    • The way Inoue wraps his hands are perfectly legal in Japan. They are also perfectly legal in Nevada.

There is no cheating you MORONS.

Some places allow more tape than others.

Fulton is unreasonably bringing up an issue that should have been discussed before they signed the contract.
But they didnt. Japan and the commission allow these hand wraps.

End of the day, Inoue will wrap his hands anyway princess Fulton requests.

I wonder if Fulton will also request more cushioning in the gloves.

It happens where things are not noticed until they are, human nature I suppose, look at Margarito who knows and it was just Nazeem being very observant that found it out.

Not only is it like hitting a guy with a brick, but it protects the hands and allows a guy to throw much harder with no fear of breaking their hands.
When I saw this story I knew it was bad, so for those saying, "it doesn't matter" or "it's legal in Japan", clearly you don't understand the impact this type of situation can have on a fighter's career.

This is issue that the Japanese fighter is facing moving forward, people all over the world agree his hand wraps are suspect, and given his reputation as a knockout king, that's really bad, it's bad for perception, it's bad for his marketability, it's bad for boxing because he was emerging as the new face of the sport. Now the pressure is on, he will HAVE to change how he wraps his hands next week, and moving forward, and he better win by KO, or the cloud is going to get darker than it is right now.

They said it was legal. It’s on YouTube Mayweather Pacquiao Epilogue

              • So, three days before the fight, this concern comes up? A little late and seemingly an intentional attempt to upset the "Monster's" flow.

                • Do we know what gloves Inoue will be rocking for this fight? Reyes or Winning?

Honestly u don't have a clue what you're talking about. If it didn't matter it wouldnt be an issue.

I get that it happens, but it's the opponents teams job to oversee it and they are part responsible. This is racism at its finest. Boxing is that one sport where reverse racism has no boundaries
