If even Bud thought about losing, he shouldn't say that in public. Some things he should keep to himself. He is 35 years old. In boxing years Bud is no longer a spring chicken. He does have a lot of mileage on him.Combat Talk Radio

This fight just may be similar to the Brook versus Spence fight. I reckon Bud will have all the advantages early but seems to me like once Spence warms up as in that fight too and you can't hurt him, it start to become like a runaway locomotive. The size and strength starts to show and he starts to bear down on you in attempt to break your will. Unless Crawford is truly special and can hurt Spence early or nullify what he brings, I think it's going to be a long night for Bud.Stuntman Mike likes this.

I’d assume if you fight the best top 1-3, top 5 guys in your divisions, constantly, by 35 you will more than likely be confident when you face your 15th top 5 fighter of your career. Crawford didn’t do that, he knows his resume is BS, and he knows he didn’t fight guys in their prime or fought the best top 10 fighters in his weight class.
Of course he will be concerned of losing when he faces his first elite fighter at 35.
Imagine if Mayweather’s top 5, top 10 ranked fighters were only Hernandez, Manfredy, Corrales, Chavez, and Castillo then he fights Mosley in 2010. That’s basically Crawford’s resume except Mosley>Porter, and Castillo and Corrales are better than anyone Crawford beat at 135-140.
But just saying as an example, Mayweather wouldn’t be known as being that great if he hadn’t beaten DLH, Canelo, Pacquiao, Cotto, Marquez, Gatti, Hatton, Baldomir, Judah, Guerrero, Ortiz, Maidana.
So yeah, Crawford’s confidence is likely not that high because he’s not used to fighting that many top fighters.Last edited by -Kev-; 07-21-2023, 11:51 PM.Sheppirino

All the guys that are so positive about who is going to win are talking out the rear, if youre that positive, go and put everything you own on it as you will double your life position in an hour, lol talk is cheap.

I have no idea who will win. Honestly I dont care either way I'm just glad were finally seeing it. Anybody complaining about it finally happening shouldn't be allowed to watch boxing anymore.REMOVE SHARK 5510 likes this.
