Truer words have never been spoken. That’s exactly what Spence is saying.

So everyone at 147 should avoid Boots because he does not have star power not bring in the money. Boots might as well just retire.

He's your mandatory, dude. And it's actually a fight fans want.

Nope. Leonard once said that he'll fight Hearns when Hearns reaches the name stature of Duran. He was immediately accused of being scared when what he was really saying is, let's build the fight uo so we can really make money. No sense in great Fighters fighting for chump change. Ennis needs an Ugas or Thurman on his resume for the casual fan to get interested. Only the diehards know about Ennis but this fight could be another superfight but only after he builds his name uo.

This man here gets it. Either fight your mandatory or move up and vacate

Spence is saying if I fight Spence I have to be in the best shape of my life because Boots is a young buck trying to make a name for himself. He refuses to be a highlight reel KO for Boots. I don't know who would win that fight but Boots has age, hunger, power and athleticism on his side. Chances are Spence could lose to Crawford and Boots and Crawford or Boots and if this scenario were to happen then he needs to get paid handsomely for taking a loss. Boots will win a title one way or another. If could be by a highlight reel KO of Spence possibly or a rated challenger for the IBF title. I think Spence would move up to 154 rather than be a highlight reel KO for Boots to be shown on ESPN and ESPN classics down the line for years to come.

So doe doe what he’s saying I will fight anyone if the money is perfect for the sacrifice, dammm the mandatory thing I’m moving up after Crawford anyway so contender’s will fight for vacant belts, but in order to get me to fight this bad Mother F’er, pay me off the dammmm chart. Stay out of city school’s they just don’t reach every one!

They're both Showtime fighters, no crossing the street is required,
so it's up to them what they'll do about it. Ennis can play the waiting game all he wants.
And I'd be surprised if The Earl comes back 6 months after the Crawford fight.
There's nothing to talk about here AFAIC. Call me when things begin to move.

C'mon Errol, for the money and the risk to be worth it at the present moment, Ennis would have to have Tank's level (or close) of popularity right now.

If Ennis fights Stanionis before the end of the year I think he has a real chance of getting Crawford/Spence next year.

Boxing fans seem to always undervalue the idea of resume, and just want their eye-tested bum basher to jump infront of the line.
