Before they even fought in the same weight class, a showdown between Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford was slowly cooking up.

Considering all the details, including records and belts etc and the current timeframe in boxing, it is one of those very significant fights. Good luck to both fighters may the best man win without controversy.

This is a huge fight for boxing fans, for anyone else it's nothing. If these guys were fighting three or four times a year throughout their careers , people would know who they are and would care. They've both done a terrible job of marketing themselves in general. Average people know who Ryan Garcia is , he's the guy from the Gatorade commercials...Spence ,Crawford , ask a non boxing fan ,they won't even recognize their names. It's really sad. Hell , Roberto Duran , Miguel Cotto, and Felix Trinidad didn't even speak English but even non boxing fans knew who they were. It's because they fought more than once a year.
