Comments Thread For: Baumgardner Eyes Blockbuster Fights Versus Serrano, Taylor, Cameron: 'I'm Great And Getting Better'

Alycia Baumgardner hopes for a multi-divisional undisputed run for her next few fights. The reigning and fully unified junior lightweight queen called out her stated targets all the way to the 140-pound division following her latest victory. Baumgardner confidently turned to the future after avenging a past defeat with a July 15 points over Christina Linardatou to defend her 130-pound championship in her Detroit hometown.

Cameron would take her to school. She's the best fighter at 140 and down by some distance. Just like I told you all she would easily beat Taylor.

Baumgardner and her nice arse needs to rematch Mayer, I think she got lucky with that decision. I think she knows it too deep down which is why she dismissed a rematch instantly.

Baumgardner isn't going to defeat Serrano, Serrano is going to beat Baumgardner, and take her undisputed titles in the process.
Then Serrano is going to face Taylor in a rematch, and take her titles to become undisputed champion in three separate weight divisions.
I thought Serrano won their first fight, and chances are that she'll bust up Taylor face even more so than she did the first time around.

Persoon, Choi, and Serrano are all nice options for Baumgardner.

What happened to Choi? Did she vacate or get stripped of her title?

I don't know what's going on with her because it seems she fought the other night in Korea but it isn't on her boxing record... and she was the WBA champion but she never lost any fights and Baumgardner has that belt now.

Harper ducked the unification fight with Choi before she lost to Baumgardner, then Choi got frozen out by Matchroom and left inactive and now Baumgardner seems to have her belt.

Unless shes champion in recess, then she could get that Baumgardner fight.

Serrano would inflict serious pain on both Baum and Taylor. I have her beating both if they fight. I still think she is the best female PFP and that the round she almost ripped Taylor's head off should have been scored as a 2-point round.

The Serrano fight makes sense. Maybe in new York at the theatre or something

Seriously it's like she's just totally dropped out the conversation all together. Might be a reluctancy to fight outside of Korea because she was signed to matchroom aswell but that seems to be done now aswell

Cameron would not take her to school, Baumgardner punch selection is vastly superior than Cameron. HOWEVER Baumgardner stamina is 5h!t so I can see Cameron outworking her down the stretch.

I'd love to see Bumgaurdner vs Serrano with the winner fighting Taylor at 135 after.
