Does anyone remember when Hatton got Mayweather as his trainer and Khan got Virgil Hunter?
Problem is
1. It's too late to change someone much
2. Usually people fight the way they do because of physical attributes and if you train them to fight "your" way they lose the thing that made them good in the first place
3. When things go wrong in the ring - they revert back to type anyway
Honestly the Whyte fight is a dumb one to take ahead of Wilder given how that fight went last time. Maybe AJ thinks it will be good practice - but Whyte is slow and Wilder is fast
