Better yet, control your words. Be a good sportsman regardless of the outcome and your emotions so you can keep those doors open down the road. He pissed on Haney immediately after the fight. No way I would give him rematch. And I don't think Haney would be scared because he did great body work in the first half of the fight.

Yeah after a fight and a close loss you're not thinking right.

i cant see any way possible that loma delayed asking for a rematch until haney made it clear he was going to 140 just to make haney look bad LMAO, thats an odd narrative i have to say

loma was always after the belts, haney doesnt have the power to make him a bit hesitant, hes a great opponent for loma actually

Well, you tell me. Do you think he acted like a sportsman and properly congratulated Haney? Do you think he gave Haney any credit for busting up his face and that bodywork early in the fight? Its one thing to disagree with the decision but go back and listen to his post-fight interviews. You would have thought he fought himself.

i dont think its easy to congratulate someone when u think u won the fight, they said they thought it was a robbery and loma controlled the fight, haney was the guy talking smack about loma in the buildup to the fight, he said he was going to end his career with the beating he was going to give out and then pushed him hard, remember that? Haney calling loma a dirty fighter all his career lol so loma needs to lick up to this guy who has no interest in giving him a rematch anyway

i just rewatched the press conference, all loma did was answer the questions as best he could, he said he needs to sit down and rewatch the fight to give his final answers!! lol, u guys are just making stuff up i think, he just answered the questions he was asked. So hes supposed to gush over haneys bodyshots and jab to sooth haney to give him a rematch after all the crap haney talked about him in the run up. Thats weird.

"Haney says. “I think Loma is an amateur, he’s never fought nobody like me who don’t care what you did in the amateurs. It’s about what you’re gonna do May 20th. And on May 20th I’m gonna run over him. Whatever he brings on fight night, it won’t be enough. I’m gonna make him look average, I’m gonna make him look ordinary. They gonna say how great Devin Haney was, how he dismantled Loma.

“I’m ending him, I’m putting a stop to his career. I’m gonna embarrass him and he just won’t be the same after. I’m closing the chapter on Loma after this. I’ve been wanting this fight for a long time, it’s finally here. Checkmate.”

Actually i do think loma can be a bit whiney after a loss, i remember he was the same after teo fight where even arum said he was losing it a bit, with haney i think he could have something to complain about but both guys fought well in that fight & it was a close one, i dont think top guys who lose fights they thought they should have been awarded are generally too happy post fight interview tho & certainly not too gushing about an opponent they clearly dont like either but loma could have acknowledged that haneys body work was decent i guess but in the end he slagged off haney by saying he thought teo and linares were better than haney, but then again haney has done a fair bit of slagging of loma too
