Great rally by Ghost and great sense of urgency in the corner by Derrick James. I personally think Marti n is a wee bit overrated overall, but he has some nice tools to work with, especially the hard jab, great balance and digging work to the body. He's not beating Tank or Shakur, but he has a good shot against anyone else in the division, including Devin. I scored 114-113 Martin. Without the knockdown, it's a draw.

That means the score was 105-104 Martin going into the 12th round on that scorecard. Artem was up on the other card 105-104. Artem got tired and you can easily give the last 3 rounds to Martin. Which means Artem was ahead going into the 10th round on the other 2. Assuming they all gave Martin the last 3 rounds. Even without seeing the breakdowns of the scorecards, anyone claiming robbery or bad scorecards should analyze this a bit closer. It's clear Martin was the superior athlete in better shape. And that's what gave him the victory tonight. That ability to push hard in the last 3 rounds. While Artem faded although he fought brilliantly early on. This is the beauty of boxing.Comment

Did not read your coverage of the fight, covered backwards again, plain ******. You cover a fight from round 1 to round 12, NOT FROM ROUND 12 to ROUND 1. Do you read a book from the end to beginning? Does the referee count from 10 to 1?Comment

How is it hating? I called it how I see it. Martin is highly liked by his team, and yesterday showed why. He fought with heart and he listened to his corner. But based on what I saw, he's small, he's not that savy, and he doesn't have that "it" factor that champions are made of. He'll win some fights, but he's going to hit and abandon his peak quickly - he's not going to be a force to be reckoned with.Comment

Agreed , it's very annoying. I refuse to read it. I saw the fight anyway.Comment
