Why the hate on Manny?

Manny Pac is THE MAN!!!.....even tho' I got Cotto......its hard to find a reason to hate on Manny.....I can't find one!!!

I agree. Its a silly misconception that he is only a Piony's give him love lol. You know how hard it is to be from another Country in boxing and win the fans over in the US? Its almost unheard of. He's done it with his entertaining boxing and his humbleness outside the ring. Let them hate on that!

I agree. Alot of people when talking about Pac want to hate on mexican fighters. Not realizing that yeah Pac is exciting, but the mexican fighter's willingness to fight and go to war(same temperment as Pac) is allowing for the fights to be so exciting. Imagine if they were as defensive minded as Mayweather. The fights would not have been as exciting. I know it's hard to be from a different country and win fans over, mexican boxers go through the same thing. Thats why I try to appreciate boxers regaurdless of nationality. I even appreciate the Klitchko's and what they are doing.

I know a Fillipino family who I am good friends with. They have seen 3 boxing fights in their whole life. Pac-Diaz, Pac-DLH and Pac-Hatton. They argue with me and swear up and down that Pac is the greatest boxer to ever walk the earth. They say that the JMM fights could not have been as close as I make them out to be(because Manny is so freakin awsome, it just isn't posible that anyone could do anything but lose to him). Add that along with some of the Pac nutthuggers from this site, and yeah I admit I kind of disliked Pac for a while. But then I realized it wasn't Pac that I couldn't stand, It was his misinformed, annoying, uneducated(boxing wise) fans. Pac is cool in my book. Hell of a fighter and fun to watch.

Why all the hate on Manny? He doesn't duck anybody. He gives everything he has in each punch. He has the heart of a lion and he always tries to entertain. We should stop hating and start accepting his greatness.

That's why some people hate him because he always goes for the kill not just to win but also to entertain. They're jealous their favorite fighter seldom does that if ever. Also Manny wins big fights which was the same reason people hated Tyson. As ****ed up as it is with sports we like to build up our heroes but love to knock them down.

those people were probably just talking smack... most pinoys thought pacquiao would lose to de la hoya, most thought hatton would give pac a challenge, most think that cotto might be too big for pacquiao.
