Is this fight even worth discussing? There's hardly any footage about this Harutyunyan guy, other than 2 -3 year old ones. I know it's a showcase fight and no one is expected to see big things from Martin yet, but why did it take him seven months to reappear after a big win? Does this mean fans have to wait for another 7 long months before seeing him again after this fight? This is even worse than fighting once a year. At least it takes less than that. Fans in this case have to wait for 14 long months.

It's not even a big deal to me who they fight as long as the time interval between fights is shorter, not f'ing seven months.

Outboxing Martin is actually a decent strategy. Especially if Martin doesn't expect that (Jacobs/Quillin).

Judges were happy to give B-Side Villa the W against Ellis. So the "robbery" narrative doesn't fly here either.
Fair enough Leicesterage, but you and I both know that Martin is favored, A-side, with big Promotion Company, and is close to a title shot / big name fight ($$$ for promotion company), therefore will get the judges benefit in any and all close rounds. That’s before even taking into consideration that Artem is Armenian and Eastern European so American judges never give a fair shake to Eastern Europeans.

This is nothing new inside the PBC premises.
Another PBC guy Edwin De Los Santos was available for almost a year,
yet he never got any offer from anyone who is willing to dance with him.
He reappeared after almost a year of sitting around waiting for nothing.

If De Los Santos wants to be active, keep his momentum going and not waste time, he should start exploring fights outside of PBC. I think he would rot in his current situation if he won't do anything ASAP. There are guys outside like Jamaine Ortiz, Muratalla, Nakathila, Zepeda, winner of Navarette/Valdez, etc., not to mention Shakur.

I agree with that. He might want to start with Nakathila, who is probably
the most eager to come back and accept any fight to prove himself again.
Not a big fight, but interesting enough for a stay-busy fight for both fighters.
As opposed to being put on the shelf for long stretches of time.

              All excuses.

Teofimo had major hype like you describe, yet Kambosos, unknown to the world at large, got his hand raised.

Bottom line: you put in the work, judges will give you the nod. Not "barely" (like Fox vs. Maestre). Decisively. Leave no doubt.
