People like Floyd and B-Hop are unicorns when it comes to discipline but it's also why they aged so gracefully. What you put into your body, you get out of it.Comment

Yeah, he definitely has corrected those issues he had but they still were real lifestyle choices that affects the performance of a professional athlete at the highest level. And this isn't even only about the drinking. Spence is on record saying how he love fried foods etc which I think most people do lol.

Every great fighter tries to "get it back" when they get caught with a shot. I agree, Terence becomes a bit more aggressive than others but it's also a bit overblown.
Outside of 140, I don't think Danny Garcia has shown any crazy power and he buzzed Spence a couple of times. I'm honestly unsure who has the better chin. I don't think either has a great chin but maybe average or slightly above.
Ugas fought Spence's fight with zero lateral movement and he doesn't counter in between shots like Bud. Neither fighter has fought anyone like the other so I don't think it's worth trying to extrapolate anything significant from past opponents.
Danny Garcia can buzz anyone at 147 regardless of chin. I dont think Spence being buzzed by Garcia means anything. Im sure Crawford could get buzzed by him as well. I knew Garcia would lose some fights vs the top 147 fighters unless he landed that big left hook. Garcia has an excellent chin, good counters, deadly left hook, and good body work. He does everything good. If you beat him it won't be by a mile. I think his battles with anxiety and depression may have affected his performances at 147. His stamina was different at this weight.
I thought Ugas' whole game was being a counter puncher. He should've won the Porter fight but he was waiting to counter vs going for it. Wasn't busy enough and they favored the A side. In the Pacquiao fight he countered well and seemed like he went for it.
What one did vs other opponents won't matter fight night. But it seems the cliche line amongst even former fighters is " oh look what Crawford did to Porter and look what Spence did ".It's very amateur like to me. Almost like supporting triangle theories which anyone who knows boxing knows that doesn't work. You would think former fighters knew this.
What I'm saying is screw their mutual opponents. To me Spence is the more tried and tested fighter. He's fought guys where there were question marks about his health and abilities. Ugas after eye surgery after he beat Pacquiao. Garcia after being thrown through a windshield. He's rose to the occasion when things were an unknown. He outboxed a guy who everyone said was the better boxer. Bud hasn't came into any fights with question marks at 147. He's been the favorite with no expectation of his eye or his body not being the same. I would put my money on the guy who had to overcome more adversity. And has fought stiffer competition imo.
2 more weeks. I know I'm taking Spence but I'm undecided if I'll bet the straight win or by ko.

I don't think it's over blown. Did you see him and Porter stand and trade? Maybe he knew Porter didn't have a KO reputation. However he's 5Dnever done that with a real puncher. If he falls into that with a stronger puncher like Spence, he's going to get hurt. And Spence will continue to put the pressure on.

Question
How much $$$ did you bet?Comment

I didn't bet the house on it. I knew there was a possibility of a loss. I even thought of taking the bet that the fight ends in a ko so if Spence or Crawford got stopped I would get paid. But that was a **** return. I bet Spence for the stoppage. Trust me my rents still getting paid this week. I don't think the amount matters.Comment
