He ran for Senate in NY.
He's in politics now.

He never really came back after the injury... He ran for the senate... I don't know if he got elected.

I actualy went to school with Joe mesi son. I think that bum retired or ran for office or something. Here in buffalo that bum is a legand

Joe Mesi attempted a come back and i think beat a few tomato cans but new york and vegas boxing commissions would not allow him to fight thus nullyifying big fights for him.
