Comments Thread For: Crawford: After Spence Fight, Critics Will Eat Their Words And Give Me Respect I Rightfully Deserve

Terence Crawford wants to prove his critics wrong when he faces off against Errol Spence Jr. on July 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. During the buildup of the fight, Spence and trainer Derrick James have both blasted the three-division champion Bud's resume.

The Spence STANs will shift into spin/deny/deflect mode beginning July 30th. Count on it.

Imagine being a former undisputed champion and thinking you have to justify your career to the critics who have probably never even set foot in a gym in their lives. Crawford is a generational talent watch him toy with Spence.

No one doubts Crawford’s talent. It’s his resume at 147 that gets picked apart especially when he chose to fight washed up guys like Khan and Brook.
Crawford is a great talent, hopefully we’ll see him challenge himself win or lose after Spence.

Bud, you might be hands down, the most skilful fighter who ever lived, but without resume you won't even be best fighter pfp right now, let alone hall of fame

Sorry Bud, but you are not getting more credit after it. The haters will hate no matter the outcome and find tons of excuses, while those who know boxing know that Bud is a legit HoFer and in the top 3 p4p in the world

Exactly. Crawford seems to be too much in love with his famed skills. Spence is certainly above the level of those he has faced. Though it remains an intriguing fight.
