Nonito Donaire doesn't regret the aggressive approach that led to his devastating defeat to Naoya Inoue in their rematch 13 months ago. Donaire tried to take out "The Monster" early in their second bout. The Japanese knockout artist instead dropped Donaire in the first round and again during the second round.

Shyt happens but have to appreciate his mentality. Go for the kill and be willing to get taken out trying to do so. Donaire is probably the only active boxer that exemplifies what is right about boxing. He was on vada 24/7 for years of his own accord just to promote clean boxing , and consistently faced the best boxers at their peak. No other current boxers have done either of those things.

Can't say anything negative about Donaire. Been a lifetime fan since he knocked out Vic Darchinyan which was arguably his coming out party. Since that fight, he's put on amazing performances. Exciting fights and went in with some equally devastating punchers. I can't say he ever had a dull fight (except maybe against Rigo). He's right there behind Pac in following him to fight well beyond his years, but I can only hope he comes to terms with retirement soon. He's given us enough entertainment and deserves to leave this sport with his health intact.

One of the last true gentlemen of the sport, win or lose this guy has always been gracious and fought most of the fighters people wanted to see him against. Very few in the last two generations of boxing can say that. Donaire walked the gauntlet to get everything he’s achieved and still remains the same humble dude. Much respect.

Love Donaire, monster of a guy and its cool they bumped him up. One of the ATGs, should've moved up sooner in weight class though IMO

No one needs to see that again.
