Fury, CONelo, Jermall should all be stripped imo. Inactivity while holding the belts hostage is bullsh.it

WBC sees a big money fight with Fury against Usyk. They aren't going to miss out on that cash. I would be shocked if Fury gets stripped. They're probably making another belt for him right now. Are they the ones with the Franchise belt? WBC: "Our new Franchise champ....Tyson Fury!"

          The headline is misleading.

It sounds like he was asked by the interviewer a leading question of whether he thought Fury should be stripped.

His direct answer is quoted in the body of the article itself, and is clearly a no: "No, I don’t think it (Fury’s belt) should be relinquished. He can be stripped only for one reason, if he does not comply with WBC rules. But according to my understanding he does [comply]. He fought Whyte for the mandatory and now they have to appoint him a new mandatory because the new mandatory has not been appointed. He’s not actually breaking any rule of the WBC."

Where he goes on to talk about stripping him is in the context of "in an ideal world", with regard to sports, boxing and cheating the fans. It is, effectively, a way of pouring scorn on the purported Ngannou fight.... And rightly so.

He can't be stripped, he's fore filled his obligations but the cross over fight ,if true is absolute bollocks .There's so many good heavyweight fights there and we get Joshua/ Whyte 2 , Fury /Chisora 3 and Joshua/Franklin -Whyte/Franklin ..it really is garbage!

Ngannou's PFL contract was structured around this very fight. Problem is that Fury underestimated Ngannou's business savvy and his end game. Not as much leverage as Fury thought he'd have making this fight. All of a sudden Ngannou has a few boxing options and they all pay very very well.

Fury won't even risk the belt against Ngannou, but has to do an exhibition with no knockdown stipulation? What a coward.

Yeah if people actually read the articles it was clear as day that Usyk doesn't want the Fury fight.

Let's face it. Fury cares more about money than the belts or his boxing reputation. Fury was going to go after the final belt eventually just like he's going to fight AJ twice or Wilder a 4th time even when he doesn't need to. If he loses he's still going to leave with a massive paycheck.

Usyk before he fought AJ has always said Fury would be his toughest fight because he's a big, rough, but decent boxer and now Usyk has had his toughest fights against a shot AJ who was scared to engage against a pillow fisted little man. Usyk is willing to never fight Fury regardless of the payday. Fury will fight anyone if the money is there.
